On the way to Ledgewater and the annual Will It Burn destruction, I needed a place to stop off for a quick lunch. following the rule of "local business" + "cars in the parking lot", I found this place.
I usually get a snap shot of the plate, but it was gone before I could remember to grab the camera. I'd had the roast pork and it was cut with a plastic fork tender. Just on the outside of Kerrville, I hope its still around the next time I'm by there.
And since I was passing through Kerrville, I made a pass by Stonehenge II.
Not too much longer, on the other side of the mountains and down a few twisted roads, I find my way to the camp site.
It wasn't long before nightfall and this is probably the most dossal the fire would be tonight.
Meet from an earlier shopping visit to the towns grocery was on the pit.
And everyone loaded up on butt fuel
The next day was just a relaxing, do whatever the F you want kind of day.
Prof was there to regale us with his tails.
Thump's new ride.
Tonight, the cook....
...presents PORK.
and another gassy night was had by all.
On my return home, I made a slight detour past Lost Maples State Park
But a little too early in the season still for any good colors.
Thanks for coming along!
